Good morning, Landin Pointe Property Owners!
The HOA wants to make you aware of an important change regarding the City of Austell’s Bi-Annual Cleanup schedule for 2025. Previously held in April and October, the cleanup months have now been moved to February and November.
You should have received a notice about this change along with your February water bill invoice, but we wanted to ensure everyone is informed. Below is information taken directly from the City’s website to help you prepare.
What is the Bi-Annual Cleanup?
Each year, the Mayor and City Council designate two months to collect large or bulky items that are not routinely picked up with regular trash collection. This is a great opportunity to dispose of unwanted items at no additional cost!
A cleaner community starts with each of us—let’s work together to keep Landin Pointe and Austell beautiful!
Items NOT Accepted for Pickup
While many items can be collected during this cleanup, there are restrictions. The following items WILL NOT be collected:
🚫 Hazardous materials (asbestos, antifreeze, freon, medical waste)
🚫 Large appliances (refrigerators, air conditioning units)
🚫 Construction materials (flooring, insulation, pallets, fencing)
🚫 Automotive waste (tires, fuel tanks, metal drums)
🚫 Household waste (food waste, household garbage)
🚫 Miscellaneous (paint cans, glass, sinks, carpets, propane gas, tree stumps)
